racing the hairy and midnight phone call
im missing you @ 12:13 p.m. on 2003-01-20
Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day, everyone!
I was out of town this weekend. We visited my grandparents. I love them.
I got home Sunday around 3. At 8, Katie and Diana and I went to see "A Guy Thing", downtown. Probably the most awful movie on the planet.
We raced some guys home, going back into West Memphis. It just so happened that it was this guy with a really hairy derriere and I was filming our race and all of a sudden....a giant, ugly hairy [fill in the blank] was hanging out of the window. Disguisting.
I got in at midnight and rushed to my bedroom to call Tara.
::Sigh!!::
I told her that I would call her when I got home from the movies and the anticipation of her voice was lingering in my heart and head all night.
She picked up the phone on one of the first rings and it surprised me...her voice is so enchanting...I can't begin to describe this.
We talked about goofy little things...we always do, I love it.
She told me about her weekend and I couldn't even talk...she had me giggling the entire time.
At a little past 2, we realized that it was getting late and we let each other go...hearing "I love you" and "Goodnight" come from her lips...she has the most beautiful voice in the world.
Ecstasy.
I layed on my bed, melted into my sheets and held my heart...smiling...she makes me so happy.
Where would I be, today, without her?
I want to tell the world.
